LASIK Eye Surgery Pre- and Post-Operative Care
As a part of our LASIK co-management services, Dr. Rich provides thorough pre- and post-operative care, including an additional dilated exam and updated prescription, weekly and monthly follow-up appointments, personal visits to the NVision Laser Eye Center during surgery, and frequent doctor-patient communication.
Prior to performing surgery, the opticians at NVision complete additional testing to ensure a completely error-free process. This includes using an automated refractor to double and triple check your prescription, scanning a topographical map of the cornea, taking pupil measurements, measuring cornea thickness, and other specialized vision testing. Dr. Rich and the NVision team will only proceed with surgery if the measurements are 100% accurate and indicative of a safe, effective, and successful surgery.
